ABOUT ME

I am Buyi Philip, a creative performer based in Toronto, Canada. I have been involved in the arts since I was young, beginning with dancing, designing costumes, and directing performances in a dance group called Tabu Flo in Uganda.

Later on, I moved to Toronto to further my career in fashion and costume designing as well as acting. I have worked in various film set departments as an Actor, Background Acting, and a Production Assistant. I am a passionate artist who uses my creativity and love for the arts to bend energy to my will.

As a solo and group choreographer, I have performed on world stages with Tabu Flo Company, performing The Speech, Kalabanda’, and The Night Dancers ‘Abasezi Theatre Production at Breakin Convention Sadler’s Wells Theatre UK, among other productions.

In addition to my dancing and performing skills, I am also an experienced and intuitive creative artist in fashion and costume designing. I have been designing ready-to-wear and avant-garde garments since the age of 24. My multi-dimensional skill set allows me to excel in various aspects of creativity and performance, including acting, storytelling, and channelling.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
